“Don’t Mess with God’s Workman”

Acts 13:4-12

Acts 13:4

1) Seleucia is a seaport 16 miles from Antioch.

Acts 13:5

2) Now John, who assisted them, is John Mark, a cousin of Barnabas.

Acts 13:6

3) His name is Bar-Jesus. Now in Aramaic, that means son of Jesus. He is also called Elymas, and Paul calls him a child of the devil.

Acts 13:7

4) Sergius Paulus wanted to hear and Satan wanted to make sure he didn’t.

5) Saul would have been his Jewish name and Paul would have been his Roman name.

6) What we need to be is honest and be used by God to love this world enough to tell them the truth.

7) God is still working in many different ways. Don’t ever be ashamed of Jesus or His Word.
